We specialise in supporting refugee engineering and business service professionals to restart their careers in the UK.

Who we support

We assist skilled graduate refugee professionals with between 2-25 years’ experience in architecture, business services, IT, telecommunications, project management and civil, electrical and mechanical engineering. We seek to assist you to find work in the field of your experience. We can’t retrain or re-educate you if you want to change professions.

What you need

  • To be able to evidence your Immigration status and right to work
  • Have a good standard of English – we will ask you to complete an assessment
  • A relevant graduate degree or equivalent, and have at least two years’ specific occupational experience
  • To be looking restarting your professional career in the UK
  • To have been in the UK for less than 5 years

Location

  • Engineers should live in the North West, Yorkshire or Humberside
  • For all other roles you should live in Greater Manchester *other areas will be decided on a case by case basis*

What we provide
We offer information, advice and guidance:

  • Paid Returner Placements – we’ll do our best to broker a 6 month paid placement in your profession. You’ll be paid at least the National Living Wage
  • Build your profile – we help you create a detailed skills portfolio and UK standard CV
  • Match your skills to roles – we can’t make promises of jobs but we will guide you in how to spot the right roles
  • Support to find a long term position – after placements

What we require from you

  • Agree to attend information, advice and guidance sessions face to face, by email, phone or via video calls
  • Be proactive, prepared and punctual to meetings!
